Knowing the decoding method used on the host can be useful to the guest, e.g. in order to decide which format to use for buffers or to choose between several acceleration options if more than one decoder or encoder device exists. Since this change only adds additional data to the device configuration space, it does not introduce any incompatibility with existing guests.
