c7eac90200 Enable the new graph nodes by default.
It's been tested in various places now, so this is probably mature
enough to be the default.

a757fddcf1 revset: parse file() argument as fileset expression
Since fileset and revset languages are syntactically close, we can reparse
revset expression as a fileset. This might sound a bit scary, but helps
eliminate nested quoting like file("~glob:'*.rs'"). One oddity exists in alias
substitution, though. Another possible problem is that we'll need to add fake
operator parsing rules if we introduce incompatibility in fileset, or want to
embed revset expressions in a fileset.

Since "file(x, y)" is equivalent to "file(x|y)", the former will be deprecated.
I'll probably add a mechanism to collect warnings during parsing.

a5095c1da6 cli: show commit summary at end of "branch create"
For the same reason as cdc0cc3601. This will help notice problems like wrong
target revision.

The warning for multiple branches is reorganized as a hint for "-r" option,
which I think is the main purpose of this warning. Unlike "squash", we don't
check if an argument can be parsed as a revset because branch name is usually
a valid symbol expression.

d38c9e86e8 revset, templater: include parameter names in AliasId
I'm going to add arity-based alias overloading, and we'll need function
(name, arity) pair to identify it in alias expansion stack. The exact parameter
names aren't necessary, but they can be embedded in error messages.

eda7069aee revset: represent program modifier as AST node
The goal is to remove special case from parsing functions and provide slightly
better error message. I don't know if we'd want to use "all:" in aliases, but
there are no strong reasons to disable it.

14421ac126 revset: omit function name from type error messages
This simplifies the interface of helper functions. While revset doesn't have
top-level string pattern or integer literal, these parsing helpers could be
used to parse array subscript or n-th parent operator if any.

89ac3a1851 revset: split AST-level parsing and expression lowering stages
This will allows us to parse "file(..)" arguments as fileset expression by
transforming AST for example. I'm not sure if that's good or bad, but we'll
probably want to embed fileset expressions without quoting.

parse_expression_rule() is split to the first str->ExpressionNode stage and
the second ExpressionNode->RevsetExpression stage. The latter is called
"resolve_*()" in fileset, but we have another "symbol" resolution stage in
revset. So I choose "lower_*()" instead.

a49da4ad01 revset: implement a 'reachable(src, domain)' expression
This revset correctly implements "reachability" from a set of source commits following both parent and child edges as far as they can go within a domain set. This type of 'bfs' query is currently impossible to express with existing revset functions.

3307696ba8 cli: parse out redundant "all:" revset modifier in arguments and templates
This also means "all:" is allowed in default revsets (such as "revsets.log"),
but that seems okay. In revset aliases, "all:" isn't allowed because aliases
may be expanded to sub-expression position.

8b32a8a916 revset: add support for file(kind:pattern) syntax
There are no more callers of parse_function_argument_to_string(), so it's
removed. This function was a thin wrapper of literal parser, and can be
easily reintroduced if needed.

a6615bf36d cli: render string pattern suggestion as a hint
Templater doesn't have the one yet, but I think it belongs to the same
category.

For clap::Error, we could use clap's own mechanism to render suggestions as
"tip: ...", but I feel "Hint: ..." looks better because our error/hint message
is capitalized.

074e6e12bc revset, templater: include short parse error description in summary line
This makes the summary line more informative. Even though it just duplicates
the message printed later, I think it's easier to follow.

This patch also adjusts some RevsetParseError messages because it seemed
redundant to repeat "revset function", "argument", etc.

2cd70bdf14 revset, templater: render parse error as usual error chain
Because the CLI error handler now prints error sources in multi-line format,
it doesn't make much sense to render Revset/TemplateParseError differently.

This patch also fixes the source() of the SyntaxError kind. It should be
self.pest_error.source() (= None), not self.pest_error.

31525705db cli: add "Hint: " or "Warning: " heading to almost all messages
It's inconsistent that some warnings have headings and some don't, and it seems
the choice is arbitrary. Let's unify the style. There are two exceptions:
1. continued line following labeled message,
2. "unrecognized response" followed by prompt.

a224d0f172 repo_path: show more detailed error if filesystem path failed to parse
This should address both use cases:
 1. If from_relative_path() is directly called, the error says ".." shouldn't
    be included in the (normalized) relative path.
 2. If parse_fs_path() is used, the error message contains paths relative to
    cwd. #3216

815437598f revset: disable parsing rules of legacy dag range operator
The legacy parsing rules are turned into compatibility errors. The x:y rule
is temporarily enabled when parsing string patterns. It's weird, but we can't
isolate the parsing function because a string pattern may be defined in an
alias.

d66fcf2ca0 compile integration tests as a single binary
this greatly speeds up the time to run all tests, at the cost of slightly larger recompile times for individual tests.

this unfortunately adds the requirement that all tests are listed in `runner.rs` for the crate.
to avoid forgetting, i've added a new test that ensures the directory is in sync with the file.

 ## benchmarks

before this change, recompiling all tests took 32-50 seconds and running a single test took 3.5 seconds:

```
; hyperfine 'touch lib/src/lib.rs && cargo t --test test_working_copy'
  Time (mean ± σ):      3.543 s ±  0.168 s    [User: 2.597 s, System: 1.262 s]
  Range (min … max):    3.400 s …  3.847 s    10 runs
```

after this change, recompiling all tests take 4 seconds:
```
;  hyperfine 'touch lib/src/lib.rs ; cargo t --test runner --no-run'
  Time (mean ± σ):      4.055 s ±  0.123 s    [User: 3.591 s, System: 1.593 s]
  Range (min … max):    3.804 s …  4.159 s    10 runs
```
and running a single test takes about the same:
```
; hyperfine 'touch lib/src/lib.rs && cargo t --test runner -- test_working_copy'
  Time (mean ± σ):      4.129 s ±  0.120 s    [User: 3.636 s, System: 1.593 s]
  Range (min … max):    3.933 s …  4.346 s    10 runs
```

about 1.4 seconds of that is the time for the runner, of which .4 is the time for the linker. so
there may be room for further improving the times.

c4769e0b7c revset: translate symbol rules in error message
Since we have overloaded operator symbols, we need to deduplicate them
upfront. Legacy and compat operators are also removed from the suggestion.

It's a bit ugly to mutate the error struct before calling Error::renamed_rule(),
but I think it's still better than reimplementing message formatting function.

b0c8e9ef62 revset: add 0-ary "::" and ".." operators as short for "all()" and "~root()"
Suppose "x::y" is the operator that defaults to "root()::visible_heads()"
respectively, "::" is identical to "all()". Since we've just changed the
behavior of "..y", ".." is now "root()..visible_heads()" meaning "~root()".

81f1ae38b3 revset: add literal:"string" pattern syntax
The syntax is slightly different from Mercurial. In Mercurial, a pattern must
be quoted like "<kind>:<needle>". In JJ, <kind> is a separate parsing node, and
it must not appear in a quoted string. This allows us to report unknown prefix
as an error.

There's another subtle behavior difference. In Mercurial, branch(unknown) is
an error, whereas our branches(literal:unknown) is resolved to an empty set.
I think erroring out doesn't make sense for JJ since branches() by default
performs substring matching, so its behavior is more like a filter.

The parser abuses DAG range syntax for now. It can be rewritten once we remove
the deprecated x:y range syntax.

dc6e1d7dee cli: hide irrelevant information about root commit in default log templates
I've extracted the `builtin_log_root` template for users to customize the
default templates without fully overriding them, for example I would remove
the change_id/commit_id for myself - and we discussed in Discord that leaving
those makes sense for the user to be reminded/teached that the root commit has
a change id made from z's.
