Closes https://github.com/zed-industries/zed/issues/5275 Double click with `alt` modifier pressed will do the regular word selection. Adds a setting to disable this behavior and instead select a word, as in the regular buffer. ``` // What to do when multibuffer is double clicked in some of its excerpts // (parts of singleton buffers). // May take 2 values: // 1. Behave as a regular buffer and select the whole word. // "double_click_in_multibuffer": "select" // 2. Open the excerpt clicked as a new buffer in the new tab (default). // "double_click_in_multibuffer": "open", // For the case of "open", regular selection behavior can be achieved by holding `alt` when double clicking. "double_click_in_multibuffer": "open", ``` Release Notes: - Made multibuffer to open excerpts in new tabs on double click by default (changing settings or keeping alt restores the word selection behavior). Licensing
License information for third party dependencies must be correctly provided for CI to pass.
We use cargo-about
to automatically comply with open source licenses. If CI is failing, check the following:
- Is it showing a
no license specified
error for a crate you've created? If so, addpublish = false
under[package]
in your crate's Cargo.toml. - Is the error
failed to satisfy license requirements
for a dependency? If so, first determine what license the project has and whether this system is sufficient to comply with this license's requirements. If you're unsure, ask a lawyer. Once you've verified that this system is acceptable add the license's SPDX identifier to theaccepted
array inscript/licenses/zed-licenses.toml
. - Is
cargo-about
unable to find the license for a dependency? If so, add a clarification field at the end ofscript/licenses/zed-licenses.toml
, as specified in the cargo-about book.
